8 slices of ham
½ lb sliced mushrooms
1 C chicken broth (OR dry white wine)
3 - 4 shallots (OR 1 small minced onion)
5 Tbsp butter
1 C heavy cream
½ C freshly grated Swiss cheese

12 oz bag cooked egg noodles OR 3 C cooked rice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400ºF

Arrange ham in casserole dish
Sauté mushrooms in butter and add to ham
Sauté shallots in broth until most of liquid is gone; remove from heat
Stir in cream; pour over ham; sprinkle with cheese

Place in oven until cheese has melted
Serve over pasta or rice
